Kids love pretending to be a doctor and my goal is to inspire their curiosity about science and healthcare. I want to build their confidence, encourage empathy and reduce fear in the medical setting. I also provide STEM enrichment through play.

The 2-hour session includes a white coat ceremony where children read a mini–Hippocratic Oath. Then we move one to suturing/casting a teddy bear, learning how lungs and heart work through an activity, learning about bones, reading x-rays, germ exercise to encourage thorough hand-washing, intro to CPR/intubation, and so much more!

You don’t have to bring anything. I provide light snacks and water bottles. I do provide custom white coats for all my students so they can wear them when we begin.

Every student will have a tote bag, custom white coat, large teddy bear that they sutured and casted, badge and stethoscope. I also include some surprise treats in their tote bags!

Yes! I do have follow-up classes coming up later that include new activities. The price to these classes will be reduced since they won’t include the take-home products.
